Planning Your Surgery

Our service starts from the point you make a decision to have Key Global Healthcare Solutions organize your medical travel plans at a top accredited medical center or hospital from contracted facilities located in Turkey.

  1. Review the website based on the information provided and identify the medical surgery needed.
  2. Read through the list of services provided by each hospital, package price and submit your inquiry. You also have the option of reaching us by phone or sending an email from the Contact Us page.
  3. Once the customer service representative receives a submitted request, a meeting will be set up by conference or email with the medical specialist. During this meeting, the patient will be able to ask questions regarding surgery and the treating physician.
  4. At the end of the consultation, our medical specialist verifies if you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. A final price offer sheet will be supplied.
  5. Once inquires have been addressed, discussions of alternative treatments with your doctor, and the patient completely understands the risks, benefits and the process involved, we will require a non-refundable security deposit for patient coordination and provisional booking. Key Global Healthcare Solutions will arrange your procedure directly with your overseas physician and coordinate the accommodation and transportation during your Turkey visit.
  6. The patient will provide Key Global Healthcare Solutions with exact travel dates and flight details at least two weeks prior to the time of the procedure. Upon receival of your travel arrangements, the patient coordination will be processed and confirmed along with all pre and post-operative instructions for the surgical procedure. Your flight tickets will be purchased from Turkish Airlines to Turkey (direct flights from Chicago, New York & Toronto – approximate travel time 10-11 hours).
  7. The patient will be welcomed by an English-speaking representative at the Turkish airport who will transport the patient to an affiliated hotel.
  8. The following day after the patient’s arrival, the patient will be transported to pre-operative appointment with the surgeon.
  9. Once the patient’s surgery is confirmed, your balance payment will be due prior to the surgery. If at any point during the appointment, the patient or surgeon believes that the surgical procedure should not go forward, the arranged surgery will be cancelled.
  10. After the patient’s post-surgical procedure and recuperation period, the patient will be ready to return home.
